How To Cook Eggplant Sticks In Cheese Breading With Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of eggplant
  • 150 grams of yellow cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams of breadcrumbs
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • olive oil
  • black and red pepper
  • left
  • turmeric

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the aubergines into straws about 3 cm thick and pour salted water over them to remove their bitterness.

Leave in it for a while, then dry, put in a bowl and sprinkle with olive oil. Sprinkle with spices (salt, pepper, turmeric, paprika, crushed garlic). Let the aubergines stand for 5 minutes so that they can be flavored, and in the meantime grate the yellow cheese and mix it with the breadcrumbs. In a separate bowl, beat the egg.

Dip each stick in the egg, roll in the cheese breading and arrange in a tray on a sheet of parchment. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 20 minutes.

You can serve the crunchy appetizer both hot and cold.
