How To Cook Eggs In A Casserole With Cheese, Semolina And Spinach - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 cup wheat semolina
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs / thyme, sage, tarragon /
  • 1/4 tea cup grated cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and grease the bottom and walls of 4 pots.
  • Boil the wheat semolina in a saucepan according to the instructions on the package.
  • Add fresh spinach and herbs, 2 tablespoons of grated cheese and garlic.
  • Stir and cook for a few more minutes until the cheese is completely melted.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and distribute the mixture in the pots.
  • Make a nest in the middle of each of them and carefully knock one egg.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until the eggs are ready. Season with black pepper.
  • Serve the pots warm, garnished with the remaining cheese and fresh herbs.
