Required products :

  • 1/4 tea cup olive oil (plus more when serving)
  • 5 cloves garlic - crushed with a press
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 500 grams of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of chard
  • 6 eggs
  • salt, pepper, basil
  • 1 lemon
  • bread for serving

Method of preparation :

Fry the garlic in hot fat, season with salt and pepper. When the garlic turns golden, add the hot red pepper and tomatoes. Cook until soft - about 2 minutes.

Lower the temperature and put a lid on the pan. Stir the tomatoes from time to time, squeezing them lightly with a spoon to release their juices - about 5-7 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the chard leaves and place in a bowl.

Beat the eggs on the tomatoes, making small wells on the surface beforehand. Season and put the lid, let cook for about 4-6 minutes, until the desired hardness of the yolk.

Toast the bread and serve the eggs with a chard salad flavored with olive oil and lemon.
