First, fry the onion in the oil until transparent. Add the tomatoes and garlic, stew them for about 5 minutes on medium heat. Then add the chopped green spices, tomato paste, ground walnuts, hot pepper, saffron and salt. Pour the hot water. The sauce should not be too thick, but also not too liquid.
When it boils, make small "holes" in it, in which you knock the eggs. Reduce the heat, close the pan with a lid and leave the dish on the fire until the desired readiness of the eggs. Usually they should not be hard-boiled, let the egg white just turn white and the yolk tighten a little. But, if you prefer, leave the dish longer on the stove. Sprinkle with chopped fresh green spices and serve.
