Necessary products:

 

  • 200 grams of butter
  • 2 broken eggs
  • 400 grams of sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 150 milliliters of warm water
  • 1 connection fresh dock
  • 1 bunch fresh spinach
  • 1-2 stalks of fresh mint
  • 1 egg yolk to spread
  • olive oil for frying

 

Method of preparation:

 

Pour the flour into a bowl and add the yeast, salt, eggs, melted butter and water. Make dough and divide it into parts. Wait for them to rise, roll out the crusts and cut into round shapes.

Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the dock and spinach. Season with salt and finely chopped mint. Put the stuffing in each crust, wrap in two and seal the edges.

Spread with beaten egg yolk and arrange in a parchment-lined tray. Preheat oven to 190 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Serve the empanadas warm, garnished with a cold sauce of your choice.
