Required products :

250 grams of chickpeas

3 tablespoons bulgur

1 onion

3 - 4 cloves of garlic

bunch parsley (or dill)

3 tablespoons flour

2 teaspoons ground cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground coriander

a pinch of black pepper

a pinch of paprika

a pinch of cardamom

a pinch of curry

500 milliliters of vegetable fat for frying

Method of preparation :

Soak chickpeas in water for 12 hours, which should cover the peas, add a teaspoon of baking soda.

Drain the liquid and grind the chickpeas using a blender.

Soak the bulgur in water as well, but 10 minutes is enough.

Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and garlic, chop the parsley and pour together with the spices in the bowl with the chickpea puree.

You should add bulgur, mix and grind everything together again in the blender.

Add the flour to the minced meat and mix thoroughly. Form small balls out of it and fry in hot oil. In about 3-4 minutes the falafels will be ready. Remove them on paper to drain off excess fat.

Serve the dish with fresh vegetables or your favorite sauce.

Enjoy your meal!
