Required products :

  • 4 teaspoons flour
  • 1 1/3 tea cup warm water
  • 1/3 tea cup of warm milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method of preparation :

 

  • Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl.
  • Make a well in the middle in which you add the yeast, warm water and fresh milk and sugar.
  • Stir with a wooden spoon until a sticky dough without kneading with your hands.
  • Cover the bowl with a clean cotton cloth and let the dough stand for 2 hours at room temperature or until it doubles in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 240 degrees for at least 15-20 minutes before putting the loaves to bake and place a bowl of water on the bottom.
  • Take the dough out on a floured surface and divide it into 6 balls.
  • Sprinkle each with flour and leave to rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the loaves to a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool briefly before serving.
