How To Cook Fish In Tomato Sauce With Carrots And Onions - Recipe

Required products :

700 grams of cod fillet, perch or other fish

3 carrots

2 onions

parsley root

celery root

1 zucchini (optional)

200 grams of tomato puree (canned or fresh tomatoes)

oil

parsley

pepper

left

2 tablespoons sugar

1 cube broth

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the fillet, cut into pieces, season with salt and pepper and fry in oil for 2 minutes on each side.

Grate the peeled zucchini, a little of the two roots, carrots. Finely chop the onion.

Mix the prepared vegetables and fry them in oil until golden.

Dissolve the cube of broth in hot water, add to the vegetables and let them simmer for 10 minutes. Then add the tomato puree, salt, black peppercorns, sugar and chopped parsley. Let everything simmer for 2 minutes.

Take a suitable dish and put a layer of the thick vegetable combination in it, a layer of fried fish on it and alternate in this sequence until the products are exhausted. Finish with a layer of tomato paste.

Put the fish in the oven and let it cook for 20 minutes.
