Required products :

  • 1 can of fish (200-250 grams, such as sardines)
  • 3-4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup raw rice (= 1 cup cooked)
  • 1 onion
  • 70-80 grams of mayonnaise
  • salt and green spices (fresh) to taste

Method of preparation :

Boil the eggs for 5 minutes, cool them and peel their shells. Finely chop or grate with a grater.

Peel an old onion and cut it, put it in a colander or sieve and pour boiling water over it (this way the onion will become crispier, without specific smell and bitterness). An option is to fry it until transparent.

Mash the canned fish with a fork, removing the bones. If you prefer, puree it with a blender.

Boil the rice, let it cool and mix it with the fish, eggs and onions.

Add salt to the combination and add mayonnaise to it. Stir.

Form a beautifully prepared salad on lettuce leaves, for example, garnish with green spices and serve.

With it you can prepare delicious sandwiches or eat it spread on toasted slices.

Enjoy your meal!
