Necessary products:

 

  • 30 grams of live yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 100 ml of lukewarm water
  • 100 milliliters of beer
  • 1 protein
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • a pound and a half of flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • frying oil

 

Method of preparation:

 

In a bowl, sift the flour, add salt and make a well. Activate the yeast and add the sugar. Beat the egg whites with the oil, add the vinegar and beer. Mix until homogeneous and combine the mixture with the flour. Make a dough and leave it to rise. With oiled hands, divide it into parts, stretch and fry in hot oil on both sides. Serve the mekis warm, sprinkled with powdered sugar or garnished to your liking.
