Learn how to cook "Focaccia with mushrooms, garlic, onion and yellow cheese". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 400 - 500 grams of flour
  • 4 grams of dry yeast
  • 1.5 - 2 teaspoons of fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 - 3 mushrooms (or more)
  • 1/2 head onion
  • 1 - 2 cloves garlic
  • a little dill, parsley or other fragrant green spices
  • 40 - 50 grams of yellow cheese
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • turmeric on the tip of a knife - optional

Method of preparation :

Warm the milk slightly, dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup of it, cover with a towel and let stand for about 15-20 minutes. Then mix with the flour, add salt, sugar, remaining warm milk, olive oil and knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Cover it with a towel or plastic wrap and leave in warm milk for an hour and a half.

Make the filling. Cut the onion into long pieces, fry it lightly, add the mushrooms, cut into thin slices and stew briefly. Finally, add the garlic and a little turmeric if desired.

Form a loaf of dough, spread with beaten egg and spread the mixture of mushrooms and onions on the surface. Sprinkle with chopped parsley or dill and place to bake in a preheated oven at medium heat. Follow the process so that the mushrooms and onions do not burn.

When the focaccia turns red, remove, sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven to bake (for about 5 minutes).

Enjoy your meal!
