Necessary products:

100 milliliters of water

100 milliliters of fresh milk

1 egg

1 incomplete tablespoon of dry yeast

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

350 grams of butter

Method of preparation:

Sift flour. Dissolve the dry yeast in warm water, add the milk and egg, stir and pour the mixture into the flour. Grate 50-60 grams of butter, add it, add salt and sugar. Knead a soft dough, put it in a plastic bag and put in the refrigerator for an hour and a half.

When you take it out of the fridge, roll out the dough thinly and sprinkle with grated butter (use about 80 grams). Then wrap in an envelope, roll out to a thickness of 1 cm, roll three times, put in the envelope and put in the freezer for half an hour. Do this 3 more times and after the last rolling put the dough to freeze for 6-8 hours or overnight, as croissants are usually baked for breakfast.

In the morning, take out the dough, roll it out and cut it into triangles. From the wide end of the triangle put a spoonful of jam (you can use another type or fresh strawberries, cut into 4), roll up and shape, twisting the ends like a crescent.

Bake at 180 degrees until done. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
