How To Cook Fresh Nettle In A Fragrant Bread With Onions And Cream - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Fresh nettle in fragrant bread with onion and cream". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

fresh nettle

About the breading:

3 tablespoons flour
1 large onion
1 tablespoon bran
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
pinch nutmeg
pinch grated ginger
pinch ground black pepper
pinch soda
pinch chili pepper
salt to taste
1 egg
sour cream
frying oil

Method of preparation :

Wash nettle stalks with cold water. Put them in a bowl and fill with clean water in which you have dissolved a teaspoon of soda. Let stand 5 minutes and transfer to a bowl of salted water for an hour.
Remove the plant on a towel to absorb moisture and then separate the leaves from the stems (only the leaves will be breaded, and from the stems you can make a decoction to rinse your hair).

Peel an onion and grate it with a fine grater. Drain the juice, save only the resulting slurry, mix with flour, egg, bran and add all the spices, including soda.

Then start adding sour cream until you get a dough that stays on a stalk of nettle, but not too liquid.

Heat oil in a pan, dip the nettle leaves in the breadcrumbs and then fry on both sides in the fat until a nice golden color.

Serve the appetizer hot.

Enjoy your meal!
