How To Cook Fried Green Tomatoes In Tomato Sauce With Onions - Recipe

Required products :

3-4 ripe tomatoes
1 green tomato
2-3 onions
oil for frying

Method of preparation :

Cut the green tomato into circles 5-6 millimeters thick. Fry them in a small amount of hot oil on high heat for a minute on each side until a yellow crust forms.

Cut the onion, fry it until golden on medium heat and add the finely chopped ripe tomatoes, which you have previously peeled.

Let the vegetables simmer for 10-15 minutes (until soft). Season to taste.

Pour half of the fried green tomatoes with half of the resulting sauce. Then put the remaining green circles, which pour the other part of the sauce.

Close the pan with a lid and let the dish cook on low heat for 15 minutes.

When you remove from the heat, let it cool enough to put in the fridge. Two hours later you can serve cold.
