How To Cook Fried Meatballs With Millet And Tahini Sauce - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Fried meatballs with millet and tahini sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1/2 teaspoon millet
  • 450 grams of minced beef
  • 5 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • frying oil

for the sauce:

  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 clove of garlic, grated
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

Method of preparation :

Roast the millet in a dry pan until it starts to release its aroma and turns slightly brown - about 3 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl and cool completely.

Meanwhile, mix the minced meat with the garlic, coriander, black pepper and salt.

Form 18 balls of the mixture and roll them in roasted millet. Cool the meatballs for at least 20 minutes or up to 2 hours (this will help keep them intact during frying).

Heat the fat in a pan or saucepan and fry the meatballs until golden - for about 2-3 minutes. Transfer them to kitchen paper, which will absorb the excess fat from them. Season with salt.

For the tahini sauce, mix the garlic and tahini, add 6 tablespoons of water and lemon juice, mix well and salt to taste.

Serve the warm meatballs with the tahini sauce.
