Learn how to cook "Fried meatballs with rice stewed in tomato sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of minced meat (optional)
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 2 onions (one for minced meat and sauce)
  • 1 egg
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 1 incomplete tablespoon of flour
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1.5 teaspoons of water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 40 grams of fresh green spices (half for the minced meat and half for the sauce)
  • salt, oil and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Prepare all products. It is good to grind the minced meat to get tender meatballs. Check the rice until semi-cooked (add a little salt to the water). Finely chop the onion and green spices.

Add half of the onion, green spices, rice, egg, black pepper, salt, crushed garlic to the minced meat. Knead and store in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Once cool, make small meatballs out of it.

Puree the tomatoes. In another bowl, mix the flour with 2 tablespoons of water. Stir until the lumps disappear. When the porridge becomes homogeneous, pour another 2-3 tablespoons of water and stir.

Fry the meatballs in a small amount of oil.

Once covered with a golden crust, transfer them to a saucepan, add the tomato puree, the remaining onions and green spices.

Pour 1.5 teaspoons of boiling water, spices and mix well. When the liquid boils, close the pot with a lid and let the dish simmer for 10 minutes.

Then add the flour dissolved in the water to the bowl, add the bay leaf and the cream. Stir quickly and let the meatballs simmer for another 5 minutes.

Enjoy your meal!
