Method of preparation :

Knead the dough from the flour and soda water, add sugar and a pinch of salt. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

Boil sugar syrup and 140 milliliters of water. The sweet crystals should melt completely. Once the liquid has cooled, add the honey and stir.

Divide the dough into 5-6 equal parts and roll each one thinly. Allow them to dry for about 5-6 minutes on both sides.

Then roll the leaves into rolls, sprinkling them with flour. Cut into pieces about 2 cm wide, wet the edges and align them (as much as possible).

Fry the baklava prepared in this way on both sides in hot oil until a golden crust forms. Remove the finished on paper, which will absorb excess fat.

Once cooled, immerse them in the syrup for 30 seconds.

All you have to do is sprinkle with crushed walnuts or sesame seeds and enjoy the taste.
