Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 3 - 3 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 250 milliliters of boiling water
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

For the stuffing:

  • 200 grams of cheese (or cottage cheese)
  • 2-3 boiled eggs
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • green spices of your choice (about 1 bunch) - green onions, parsley, dill, etc.
  • salt to taste
  • frying oil

Required products :

Put salt and sugar in boiling water, pour the oil. Then gradually add the flour, kneading a soft elastic dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Wash the tomatoes, dry them and cut into circles. Mash the cheese with a fork, if you use cottage cheese - add salt to it. Mash the garlic, boil the eggs hard, peel them and chop finely.

Wash and cut the green spices, mix them with the cheese and garlic, add the eggs, stir and start shaping the pies.

Roll out half of the dough on a plate sprinkled with flour. The thickness of the layer should be about 0.5 centimeters. Arrange the tomatoes on its surface, on them the fragrant cheese with spices and eggs. Cover with the rest of the dough, which you also roll out.

Using a cup of suitable diameter, cut the pies along the contours of the tomato rings.

Fry in very hot oil on both sides until golden, then remove on paper to drain off excess fat.

You can experiment with the filling and add your favorite sausage, mushrooms or replace the cheese with yellow cheese, for example.

An option is to bake the delicacy in the oven.
