How To Cook Fried Slices With Mashed Tomatoes - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Fried slices with mashed potatoes and tomatoes". Delicious recipe.

Fried slices are a tradition in every family and many Sunday mornings start with them. They are often served with cheese or jam, but we have prepared something very different for you, namely fried slices of tomatoes!

Required products :

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 slices of bread (wholemeal)
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcester sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into slices
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation :

In a large bowl, place the eggs, season with salt and pepper and add the parsley. Stir with a fork.

Spread each side of the slices with tomato paste and a little Worcestershire sauce (it will be easiest if you mix the tomato puree and sauce, so you will taste evenly).

Dip the slices in the eggs and let them soak for 5 minutes, turning them from time to time and swapping places (do not rush, they should be well watered).

Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the sliced tomatoes and slices until golden - about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Serve the slices and fried tomatoes immediately.
