This colorful frittata is not only delicious, but also suitable for keto mode. The sophisticated yet simple dish is prepared with dried tomatoes, fresh basil and bacon. Serve with a handful of arugula flavored with lemon dressing to enjoy a delicious brunch with lots of useful nutrients.

Required products :

for 4 servings:

  • 10 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 8 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 4 dried tomatoes, cut into cubes
  • 2 pieces of bacon, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 150 degrees. Beat the eggs in a bowl and season with salt.

Grease a pan with avocado oil (or olive oil) and heat over medium heat. Pour the tomatoes and bacon and fry for 2 minutes. Add the eggs and basil and stir for a few minutes, then transfer the pan to the oven and bake the dish for 25-35 minutes or until done.

Remove, cool and serve the frittata, cutting it into pieces and garnish with mayonnaise if desired.
