Frittata is an Italian dish resembling an omelet. Various additives are used in the preparation, baked in the oven.

Required products :

  • 6-8 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 60 grams of grated yellow cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 200 grams of bacon
  • 1 head salad onion (red)
  • 50 grams of spinach
  • 2 tomatoes
  • parsley, black pepper and salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Mix the eggs with the mustard and yellow cheese. Pour olive oil into a small pan (18 cm in diameter), heat and fry in it the chopped onion and thinly sliced bacon. After about 5 minutes, during which you stir the products periodically, the bacon will turn golden. Then add the spinach leaves and a minute later reduce the heat to a minimum.

Pour the egg mixture into the pan and return the bowl in a circle so that the combination is evenly distributed.

Arrange thin tomato slices on the surface. Let the frittata stay on the stove for 5-8 minutes - the edges will tighten and the middle will remain liquid.

Then transfer to the oven, which must first be heated to 180 degrees.

It takes between 15 and 25 minutes for the dish to acquire a golden color.

Sprinkle with parsley and enjoy the taste.

Enjoy your meal!
