Necessary products:

200-300 grams of sauerkraut

1 red grapefruit

50 grams of raisins

50 grams of walnuts or peanuts

1 tsp sugar

2-3 s. l. vegetable oil

Method of preparation:

Start with the grapefruit: peel it, cut it into slices and peel them (otherwise you will feel a bitter taste). Cut the peeled fruit into small pieces, put in a salad bowl and add the juice that came off during slicing.

Fill the raisins with hot water and let them soak for 15 minutes. Then drain the water, dry them and add to the grapefruit.

It's cabbage's turn. It should not be washed. Cut it and put it in the salad bowl. Season with vegetable oil, stir, sprinkle with nuts (without nuts, the salad also tastes good). Salt is not used, and if the cabbage is very sour, add 1 tsp sugar.

You can serve as a standalone dish or as a side dish to fish or chicken dishes.

Enjoy your meal!
