Required products :

  • 3/4 cup butter, soft
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup jam or jam of your choice
  • powdered sugar if desired

* A tea cup is used to measure the quantities.

Required products :

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease the bottom and sides of a rectangular pan. In a bowl, mix the butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs with a spoon. Add the flour and baking powder and mix until a dough is formed.

Spread the dough 2 cm on the short side of the pan. Make 8 incisions using the end of a wooden spoon at a distance of about 3 cm from each other. Fill each of them with about 1 tablespoon of jam or jam.

Bake the fruit bars for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for about 1 hour. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut the fruit dessert into pieces and serve.
