Separate the yolks, put them in a bowl, add sugar and beat. Add the melted butter, flour, milk, vanilla and stir to combine the products.
Combine the egg whites with the salt, sugar and beat until fluffy. Carefully combine the mixtures and pour them into a greased rectangular cake tin.
Garnish with fruit and bake the cake in a preheated 170 degree oven for 40-45 minutes.
