How To Cook Fruit Salad With Buckwheat And Honey Sprouts - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Fruit salad with buckwheat and honey sprouts". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • green buckwheat
  • optional fruits (eg combinations between: kiwi and nectarine, apple and orange, pear and peach)
  • 1-2 teaspoons of honey
  • cinnamon
  • grated nutmeg
  • Spice options are also ground cloves or cardamom
  • homemade sour cream on request
  • berries to decorate the finished salad
  • basil leaves for flavor (optional)

Method of preparation :

Pour 4 tablespoons of green buckwheat with clean water (at room temperature) overnight. Then rinse the beans and distribute an even layer of them on a plate. Leave it like this for a day. After 36 hours, if the buckwheat is of good quality, sprouts about 2 millimeters long will appear - what you need for a fruit salad. One serving requires half of the amount obtained, and store the rest in the refrigerator to add to the portion for the next day. If you want to eat such a salad every day, you will have to make sprouts every other day.

Put 2 tablespoons of pre-rinsed sprouts (can be replaced with soaked seeds or nuts) in a suitable container in which to serve the salad. Pour pieces of your favorite fruit on them and sweeten with honey.

Sprinkle everything with cinnamon and ground nutmeg, you can also add cloves or cardamom.

Season the salad with sour cream (preferably homemade) and garnish with your favorite small fruits.

To give a charming oriental aroma to the fruit freshness, add fresh basil leaves.

Enjoy your meal!
