How To Cook Garlic Chicken Skewers With Zucchini And Lemon Sauce - Recipe

Necessary products:

  • 500 grams of chicken fillet, cut into cubes
  • 1 green zucchini
  • 1 yellow zucchini
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • juice of one lemon
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • sprig of fresh dill
  • wooden or metal skewers

for the marinade :

  • 1/4 tea cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 20 milliliters of lemon juice
  • 5 grams of grated lemon peel
  • 2-3 stalks chopped fresh oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method of preparation :

Cut zucchini into circles, peppers and onions into cubes. Prepare the marinade by mixing in a bowl olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, zest, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir the mixture and season the meat.

 

Leave to stand for two hours. Season the vegetables with salt, take a skewer and string chicken, pepper, zucchini, onion. Alternate the products and prepare the remaining skewers in the same way. Heat a grill or barbecue and bake until done.

Cover the skewers with a lid, stew them and drain the sauce separated from them. Mix it with lemon juice, sour cream and dill, finely chopped. Stir and serve the skewers, garnished with the resulting sauce.
