Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons salt and sugar
  • 1/8 tea cup olive oil
  • 3-4 teaspoons of flour

for the sticks:

  • olive oil for spreading
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method of preparation :

Pour the yeast, sugar, salt and oil in warm water and stir.

Add the flour and knead a soft dough, if the dough sticks too much, add a little more flour - about 1/4 cup.

Grease the dough with oil and cover it, let it rise for 1 hour in a warm room.

Coat parchment paper with olive oil and place the dough on top. Grease the rolling pin and roll it into a rectangle about 2 cm thick.

With a pizza knife, cut the dough into strips - you should get about 10 strips, 2-3 centimeters wide.

Put the strips in a greased pan and grease them with olive oil.

Bake for 20 minutes at 220 degrees.

Mix the melted butter with the parsley, basil, garlic, salt and garlic powder.

Spread the resulting mixture on the warm saltines and serve.
