How To Cook Ginger Biscuits With Honey And Butter - Recipe

Required products :

  • 180 grams of flour
  • 35 grams of ginger powder
  • 15 grams of fresh ginger, grated
  • 80 grams of sugar
  • 20 grams of honey
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 grams of baking soda

Method of preparation :

  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and ginger powder.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter with the grated ginger, sugar and honey with a mixer until smooth.
  • Add the egg yolk and turn on the mixer again for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon just enough to mix.
  • Transfer the dough to plastic wrap and roll it into a roll.
  • Cool for 30-40 minutes until hardened.
  • Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and cover the pan with parchment paper.
  • Cut the roll into slices of the desired thickness, keeping in mind that the biscuits will swell slightly.
  • Spread them in the pan and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Wait for them to cool briefly, as they will be too soft when you take them out of the oven.
  • Serve the gingerbread cookies with a cup of aromatic coffee or warm milk.
