Required products :
1/2 teaspoon raisins
2 tablespoons dark rum
100 grams softened butter
1/2 teaspoon milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 packet dry yeast (7 grams)
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons flour
pinch salt
For syrup:
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2/3 teaspoon water
3 tablespoons rum
For the glaze:
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon semi-sweet red wine
Method of preparation :
Wash the raisins, put them in a bowl and pour the rum.
Grease muffin tins with oil.
Pour the yeast, sugar and milk into the milk (at room temperature) and let the mixture stand for 5 minutes.
Then beat it with a mixer on low speed and then add the eggs, flour, a pinch of salt and softened butter. Increase the speed to medium and beat for another 5 minutes.
Form the resulting dough in the bowl as a ball (it will be very soft) and cover with a towel. Leave it to rise for about an hour, it will increase its volume 2 times.
Drain the rum from the raisins, dry them and mix with the dough. Distribute the latter in the tins, filling about half of their volume. Cover with plastic wrap and wait until the volume increases and fills the molds (so it will take about an hour).
Place in the oven that you previously heated to 180 degrees.
While the dessert is baking, make a syrup by mixing the water with the sugar. Put the pan on the stove and once the liquid boils, cook for 5 minutes. Then add the rum and remove the syrup from the heat.
Cool the finished cupcakes and immerse in the sweet liquid for 15 seconds.
Mix the powdered sugar with the wine and glaze the dessert with a brush.
