Learn how to cook "Grandmothers' dishes around the world - Part One". Delicious recipe.
We all love our grandmothers madly, because they are the best, they cook the most delicious dishes and pamper us absolutely (un) deservedly. There is hardly any of them who is not concerned about their grandchildren, especially when it comes to nutrition. Yes! They always think that we eat little or not eat at all. We were curious to find out if the grandmothers in the world are the same as our own. It turns out that the answer is yes. So we decided to walk you around the planet and together taste interesting dishes prepared by loving grandmothers in a kind of photo walk ...
Let's go to their kitchens!
We first stop in Bangkok, Thailand, where we are greeted by 69-year-old Boonlom Thongpor . She makes us a stuffed omelet with minced pork.
Then we go to Armenia to Jenya Shalikashuili, who is 58 years old . Her kitchen smells of beef with rice wrapped in vine leaves.
It's Italy's turn. There we visit the 80-year-old Marisa Batini, who prepares a Swiss salad and ravioli with ricotta and meat sauce .
Carmen Alora (70 years old) is waiting for us in the Philippines . She cooked coconut soup with shark. Interesting, isn't it?
Our next stop is Haiti, where 63-year-old Serette Charles makes a very tasty Caribbean fish in Creole sauce for her grandchildren .
Iguana with beans and rice is the menu of Maria Luz Fedric, Cayman Islands .
In Lebanon, we taste lentil and rice puree, and the dish is the work of Wadad Achi (66 years old) .
We end the first part of our round-the-world culinary journey to Malawi, where 53-year-old Regina Lifumbo offers insect larvae, like a moth, in tomato sauce .
Stay tuned for the next few parts, we promise it will be interesting.
