Learn how to cook "Grandmothers' dishes around the world - Part Two". Delicious recipe.
We continue with our culinary photo tour around the world to see how grandmothers welcome their grandchildren, expressing their love and care for them with the help of food. Because it is no secret that grandma cooks best.
Let's go back to China to see how 62-year-old Pan Guang Mei cooked. Entering her kitchen, we see that the dish Hui Guo Rou has already been served on the table . It is double cooked pork with vegetables.
We leave for India, where Grace Estibero, 82, is waiting for us, and the dish is Vindalu chicken .
Indonesia is our next stop. There Eti Rumiati (63 years old) made Soto Betawi or coconut soup with beef and vegetables .
Inara Runtule (68 years old) from Latvia cooked herring with potatoes and cottage cheese .
We go to Zanzibar to try the fish with rice and vegetables in green mango sauce by 56-year-old Miraji Mussa Kheir.
We also quickly pass through Malaysia, where we taste coconut rice with vegetables and fried dried anchovies prepared by Thilaga Vadhi (55 years old).
Ana Lucia Souza Pascoal, 53, is from Brazil and has prepared the traditional Fejoada light dish for us . It consists of several parts: meat fried with garlic and bacon, cut into strips, which is then cooked to readiness. The next item is beans cooked with pieces of sausage and bay leaves. The third part is fried fresh cabbage. The dish is served with oil-fried flour and orange slices.
The second round of the tour ends with a dish from Zimbabwe. It is called Sadza and is made from white corn flour and pumpkin leaves cooked in peanut butter. Grandma Chef is 52 years old and her name is Flatar Ncube.
