How To Cook Greek Burgers With Meatballs And Feta Cheese Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 tea cup feta cheese, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small head of red onion, cut into crescents
  • 1 kg of minced beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 wholemeal loaves, cut in half
  • 1 cucumber, cut into circles
  • 1 tomato, cut into circles

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven or grill to a high temperature. 

Mix in a bowl the yogurt, feta cheese, 1 tablespoon oregano, lemon zest and juice and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix the chopped onion and minced beef in a large bowl with 2 tablespoons of oregano and season with salt and pepper. Form 4 meatballs and bake them in the oven or on the grill until ready.

Make a burger by adding the sauce, onion, cucumber, tomato and meatball to the bread.
