Required products :

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 - 1 head of shallots (or red onions)
  • 1 sweet pepper
  • 250 grams of mermaid (Feta)
  • 12 kalamata olives
  • 1/2 lettuce

for dressing:

  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped (optional)
  • ground black pepper (optional)

Method of preparation :

Wash and dry the vegetables. Cut the cucumber into two parts, remove the seeds and cut into pieces about 1 cm thick. Cut the tomatoes. Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into 2 x 2 cm squares. Finely chop the onion. Optionally, you can add 1/2 lettuce. Crush the feta cheese or shape it into cubes. In a salad bowl, mix the cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce (optional), cheese and whole pitted olives.

Season the Greek salad with a dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and pepper. You may not use salt because its content in the cheese is sufficient.
