Required products :

  • 2 onions, cut in half and then into thin strips
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 220 grams of green beans, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup peas, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 clove of garlic, peeled
  • 3/4 teaspoons beehive salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Jewish unleavened bread Matza

Method of preparation :

Fry onions in a saucepan with olive oil, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Set aside to cool completely.

Boil the eggs firmly in a saucepan for 10 minutes. Rinse the eggs in lukewarm water, peel them and cut into quarters.

Fill a saucepan with 2/3 water and bring to a boil over high heat. Boil green beans and fresh peas in it for 3 minutes or until soft. If you use frozen peas, add it 1-2 minutes before removing the pan from the heat. Drain the vegetables and rinse under cold water until cool.

Grind the walnuts until fine. Add the eggs, green beans, peas and garlic and blend until creamy. Add the onion with the fat in which you fried it (optional), salt and pepper and blend until homogeneous. Season with spices of your choice and serve with Jewish unleavened Matza bread.
