How To Cook Green Olives In A Pan With Parsley And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/4 tea cup cold pressed olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch of red pepper
  • 2 tea cups green olives / rinsed, drained and dried /
  • 1 tablespoon red or white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Method of preparation :

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the parsley, garlic and red pepper and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the olives and vinegar, stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Using a slotted spoon, remove the olives to a plate.
  • Add the breadcrumbs and bake for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  • Return the olives to the pan and mix well to cover with the toasted breadcrumbs.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.
