How To Cook Green Onion Casserole With Rice, Tomatoes And Egg Topping With Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 300 grams of green onions
  • 2 tablespoons rice
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh or yogurt
  • 1/2 cup grated yellow cheese
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons oil
  • dill and parsley to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Finely chop the onion and fry it in oil until soft. Then add the rice, fry for another 10 minutes and pour the tomatoes, which you have previously scalded, peeled and cut into pieces. Pour a glass of hot water, add the spices and chopped parsley and / or dill and cook everything until the rice is ready.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Make a topping of eggs, grated cheese and milk. Pour over the onion and rice and place the dish in the oven to bake. A beautiful crust should form.

When the casserole has cooled, cut into pieces and serve.
