Required products :

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 English muffins
  • 400 grams of minced beef
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheese flasks (or other optional)
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 eggs

For Hollandaise sauce with jalapeno:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • pinch of salt
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1 jalapeno pepper

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the bacon slices. Bake them, turning them from time to time until crispy - about 16 minutes. Allow them to drain the excess fat on kitchen paper.

Meanwhile, prepare the Dutch sauce: In a tall bowl (blender jug), place the egg yolk, water, lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.

Place the blender on the bottom of the bowl and turn it on. When starting the mixer, slowly pour the hot oil, it must be mixed with the other ingredients. Add half of the hot pepper (keep the rest for garnish), continue to beat until you get a smooth creamy mixture. Transfer the sauce to a lid dish and keep at room temperature for as long as necessary.

Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and make 8 meatballs. Heat a frying pan to a high temperature and put two meatballs in the pan, using a spatula, press to make them flatter and wider. Bake to your liking, and when you turn, immediately put a slice of cheese on top. Then place one meatball on top of the other.

Divide the English muffin crosswise and place 2 slices of bacon on one part. Place the meatball on top (as soon as you take it out of the pan), then put 2 slices of avocado. Repeat until all the burgers are ready.

Fry the eggs in 2 tablespoons of butter. Place each egg on the sliced avocado, add the sauce and cover with the other part of the bread.

Serve with a few slices of jalapeno pepper.

Bon Appetit!
