Do you like lollipops? If you are worried about what they contain, such as colorants and preservatives, you can prepare your own homemade without worries, using mainly sugar and cream.

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2/3 tea cup cream
  • 2/3 tea cup of water
  • a pinch of cream tartar
  • 6 tablespoons cold butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method of preparation :

Cover the pan with aluminum foil and grease or spray with cooking spray.

Combine sugar, cream water and put in a saucepan. Add the cream tartar and bring the mixture to a boil, reaching 120 degrees (measure with a pastry thermometer). Add the butter and continue cooking to 140 degrees.

Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

With a small teaspoon, make drops on the covered tray. Act quickly as they tighten quickly.

Cool, then carefully peel off the foil.

Store up to 2 weeks at room temperature
