How To Cook Hazelnut Cream - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon raw hazelnuts
  • 3 tablespoons hazelnut or walnut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tea cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Spread the hazelnuts on the bottom of a pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool briefly and rub them in your palms to peel as much as possible.
  • Transfer the hazelnuts to a blender and grind them at high speed for 3 minutes until a paste is formed.
  • Add the hazelnut or walnut oil and the vanilla extract and puree to a homogeneous consistency.
  • Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl and sift the powdered sugar, cocoa and salt into it.
  • Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until completely mixed.
  • Pour the hazelnut cream into a clean and dry glass jar and store at room temperature for up to 1 week or up to 1 month in the refrigerator.
  • Serve with toasted slices of bread, biscuits, pancakes, etc.
