Learn how to cook "Healthy pancakes with chokeberry and amaranth syrup topping". Delicious recipe.
Are there people who don't like pancakes? Salty with yellow cheese, ham and cheese or sweets - they are a temptation for the senses.
Their only drawback is that they are high in calories and their frequent consumption can adversely affect weight.
We offer you an extremely tasty sweet option, which, however, will spare your waist. This is a healthier alternative to American pancakes (fluffy and thick pancakes covered with maple syrup).
Necessary products
For the pancakes:
400 grams of flour (preferably standard or wholemeal);
300 milliliters of fresh milk;
2 eggs
For topping:
chokeberry and amaranth syrup (according to the recommended amount for a person);
fruits of your choice
Method of preparation :
You mix the pancake mixture as you normally do, but the American pancake mixture should be thicker because they are smaller but thicker. To make them even fluffier, it's a good idea to keep the eggs and milk at room temperature, so take them out of the fridge and let them stand for a while before using them. Pour a ladle of the mixture into a grease-free Teflon pan. Turn and bake until ready and the second side.
Pour a small amount of chokeberry and amaranth syrup over the stacked pancakes and decorate with fruits of your choice - bananas, kiwis, strawberries, raspberries - whatever you like and prefer.
Important!
No sugar is added to the dough. Chokeberry and amaranth syrup has a natural sweetness and is also good for energy and better digestion. This makes pancakes with syrup more suitable for consumption by diabetics.
