Required products :

  • 5 kg of barley malt
  • 200 grams of chicory
  • 20 liters of water
  • 6 teaspoons of hops
  • 50 grams of brewer's yeast
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt

 

Method of preparation :

Fill the malt with water and let it stand for a day. Then transfer the mixture to another container and add the salt. Put on the stove and let it boil for 2 hours. When the specified time has elapsed, add the hops, chicory and leave the combination on the fire for another 20 minutes.

Strain and cool the liquid to room temperature. Add the brewer's yeast with the sugar, stir and let the mixture stand for 8-12 hours.

Distribute in bottles and after 12-14 hours the beer will be ready for consumption.

If you do not need 20 liters of the drink, then reduce the quantities of products and do as much as you want.
