How To Cook Homemade Blueberry Lemonade - Recipe

Required products :

  • 6 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 3/4 tea cup fresh blueberries
  • 3/4 tea cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ice cubes

For garnish :

  • fresh blueberries
  • lemon slices

Method of preparation :

 

  • Heat 1 teaspoon of water, coconut sugar and blueberries in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • When the mixture simmers, reduce the heat and simmer for 6-8 minutes.
  • Mash the blueberries with the back of a spoon to release as much juice as possible.
  • Strain the syrup through cheesecloth or a fine sieve and cool.
  • In a large jug, mix the blueberry syrup, lemon juice and remaining water. Stir and cool again.
  • Pour the lemonade into glasses with a few ice cubes on the bottom.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh blueberries and serve.
