Required products :
500 grams of wheat flour
300 grams of wholemeal flour
3 tablespoons unrefined vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 packet dry yeast
200 - 300 milliliters of warm water
1 tablespoon finely chopped raisins (dried cherries or cranberries)
2 tablespoons walnuts
1 tablespoon mix of flax, sesame and sunflower seeds
Preparation :
Sift the two types of flour in a bowl together with the yeast, add the sugar and salt. Then put the chopped fruits and nuts, make a hollow and pour in warm water and oil. Knead a soft dough, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for an hour to rise. When this happens, knead and let rise again.
Shape the bread, make incisions on the surface, spread with fresh water and sprinkle with the seed mixture.
Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven until golden brown (about 40 minutes).
Remove the finished bread on a wire rack, cover with a linen towel and let it rest for a while.
Serve with butter and freshly brewed tea.
