How To Cook Homemade Cake With Butter Cream And Chocolate Icing - Recipe

Necessary products:

  • flour - 1 teaspoon for the dough and 1 tablespoon for cream
  • sugar - 1 tea cup for the dough, 2 tea cups for the cream and 1/2 tea cup for the glaze
  • eggs - 4 egg yolks for the dough and 10 egg whites for the cream
  • 40 grams of gelatin
  • baking powder
  • citric acid
  • condensed milk - 1 teaspoon of cream and 3 tablespoons of icing
  • butter - 300 grams for cream and 3 tablespoons for glaze
  • vanilla sugar - 1 sachet
  • cocoa powder - 5 tablespoons of glaze
  • water (boiled hot) - 150 milliliters for dissolving gelatin

Method of preparation:

Start with the dough. Mix the yolks with the sugar, add the flour, baking powder and beat until a homogeneous viscous mixture is obtained. Pour the dough into a form greased with oil and place in the oven for 10 - 20 minutes. When you remove, immediately cut to get two swamps.

 

Soak the gelatin in 150 milliliters of water for half an hour. When it swells, pour half of the cream sugar, a little citric acid and heat the mixture without letting it boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

 

Then beat the softened butter with the milk and leave for a few minutes in the cold. Beat the egg whites with a little citric acid, adding the sugar in portions and beat until a "hard" foam is obtained. Without stopping the beating, add the hot gelatin, then the cold butter mixture, the flour. The cream visibly begins to thicken.

 

You can now "assemble" the cake. Use a detachable form. Put one tray on the bottom, spread the cream evenly on top, level the surface. Next is the other tray, press without overdoing so that the air does not come out of the filling. Put to freeze.

 

Meanwhile, make the glaze. To do this, mix the ingredients for it, place in a water bath and cook, stirring, until a thick puree without grains.

Remove the frozen cake, remove the walls of the detachable form and pour the icing over the tops.

 

It remains to decorate to your liking and welcome your guests.
