Necessary products:

  • 100 grams of chocolate
  • 50 grams of honey
  • 75 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of cream with 20% fat
  • 100 grams of chocolate

Method of preparation:

Mix the sugar, butter, cream and honey (preferably in a thick-bottomed saucepan). Put on low heat and stir constantly. The mixture will boil and foam, but do not stop stirring, watch how the color changes. During this time, you should also melt the chocolate in a water bath.

After a while you will notice that from light yellow, it has turned brown, the mixture begins to thicken and the aroma becomes caramel. It all happens in about 20 minutes.

You should add the melted chocolate. Stir well and leave on the stove for another 5 minutes. The consistency should thicken a little more.

It's time to shape the blocks. To do this, you can use ice cube trays to fill with the mixture or pour it into a large container and then separate the blocks. If you choose the second option, it is appropriate to use a silicone container with a diameter of about 28 cm - you get blocks with a thickness of 5-7 cm.

If you don't have one, a simple baking tray lined with baking paper will do the trick.

After you have poured the mixture into the container of your choice, leave it to cool a bit at room temperature and put it in the fridge for 2 hours. You can then cut into pieces of your choice.

Tip: Don't save money on quality chocolate, because the taste of dessert largely depends on it.

Store in the refrigerator for several days after cooking.

Enjoy!
