Required products :

  • 3 teaspoons fresh celery leaves
  • 1 cup fine sea salt

Method of preparation :

  • Wash the celery leaves under cold running water and drain.
  • Carefully dry them with kitchen paper and spread them on a large baking sheet.
  • Allow the leaves to dry at room temperature for 1 day, then grind them in a mortar or by hand.
  • Mix 1/2 teaspoon of dried celery and 1 teaspoon of fine sea salt in a food processor and grind to the desired size.
  • Store celery salt in a glass jar with an airtight seal.
  • Use to flavor salads, soups and various dishes.
