Required products :

For swamps :

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lukewarm water

For the chocolate glaze :

  • 170 grams of dark chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cream

For garnish :

  • fresh fruit

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a round baking dish measuring approximately 23 centimeters.
  • Sift the flour into a large bowl.
  • Add sugar, cocoa, salt and soda. Stir.
  • Make three wells - one larger for the melted butter and two smaller ones for the vinegar and vanilla extract. Stir.
  • Add the water and stir again until smooth.
  • Pour the cake batter into the form and bake for about 30-40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the pan to cool.
  • Meanwhile, make the chocolate glaze by melting the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Add the chocolate and stir until completely melted.
  • Add the cream, stir and remove the chocolate ganache from the heat. Allow it to cool briefly.
  • Carefully remove the marshmallows from the pan and place it on a tray of suitable size.
  • Use a spatula to apply the glaze and garnish with fresh fruit of your choice.
  • Wait for the chocolate ganache to harden slightly, cut the cake and serve.
