Required products :

  • 1/2 tea cup cocoa beans, peeled and crushed
  • 240 grams of vodka, bourbon or rum

Method of preparation :

  • Lightly crush the cocoa beans in a wooden mortar to release their aroma more easily.
  • Transfer them to a clean glass jar and pour vodka / bourbon or rum / on them.
  • Close tightly, shake vigorously and store the jar in a dark and cool place for 3-6 months, depending on the preferred intensity of taste.
  • Shake the mixture periodically.
  • Strain the cocoa extract into a glass bottle and store it in the dark.
  • Include it in your favorite recipes for cakes, pies, candies or other sweet temptations.
