How To Cook Homemade Dried Fruit Liqueur With Almonds, Honey And Vanilla - Recipe

Required products :

250 grams of dried fruit mixture

peel of two lemons

300 grams of brown sugar

150 grams of peeled almonds

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

3/4 tea cup of honey

1 liter of vodka or other suitable alcohol

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the dried fruits, dry them. Cut the almonds into small pieces, grate the lemon zest.

Mix in a large bowl (but not metal) fruits, nuts, lemon zest and honey. Then pour the vodka and vanilla extract. Finally add the sugar, stir, cover the dish with foil and close tightly with a lid.

Leave the mixture to stand for 21 days, then taste and, if you deem it, add a little sugar and leave for another week.

Strain the drink and pour into a glass bottle, leaving 1 cm of free space up to the throat. Close tightly and refrigerate for 2 days.

The liqueur is ready for consumption. You can store for half a year.
