Homemade garlic powder is fresh, fragrant and surprisingly easy to prepare. Whether you make your own garlic or buy it from the market, this is a great way to store it and later add it to various dishes.

Peel and slice the garlic cloves into thin slices. Put them in a dehydrator or arrange them in a tray and dry them in the oven at 75 degrees.
